STUDENT LIFE AT

BRENTWOOD ACADEMY

Student life is centered upon strong relationships and a close-knit community. Students have multiple opportunities to get involved on and off campus. There are many ways to support one another in extracurricular activities, service, and fellowship.

EVENTS & TRADITIONS

COHO

In January, we host our CoHo (Coming Home) dance. The CoHo dance takes place after our CoHo basketball game. Similar to Homecoming, the week leading up to the dance is full of festivities for students!
DODGEBALL & DEVOTIONS
Dodgeball and Devotions takes place once a month in the middle school gym. Middle school students participate in the ultimate dodgeball showdown with their peers before enjoying a time of devotion shared by a different senior each month.
HOMECOMING
HOMECOMING GAME: vs. Innovation Academy. Friday, October 4, 7:00 PM
HOMECOMING DANCE: Saturday, October 5

Homecoming week is one of our favorite traditions at BA. Activities include student dress-up/costume days, a homecoming pep rally with student vs faculty games, dance-offs and grade-level spirit competitions before a massive on-campus bonfire.  Other fun includes a BBQ dinner for the entire BA family and the traditional Homecoming Dance for upper schoolers.

JOE CAMPBELL SERVICE DAYS (JCSD)
Twice a year, students and faculty participate in Joe Campbell Service Day. This day is named after Joe Campbell, a beloved BA faculty member whose life was characterized by his commitment to serving others. During JCSD, students serve throughout the community with various organizations committed to caring for our city and neighbors.
MEGA MANIA
Each year, middle school faculty facilitate a fun evening on campus for students who “choose to compete in “Mega Mania." This is BA’s own variation of tag/capture the flag where middle school students compete against seniors.
